WILLEM MOSTERT
DIRECTOR
As a born Namibian, Willem manages our business development, logistics and operations throughout Namibia. He holds both a higher certificate and a national diploma in agriculture from Grootfontein Agricultural College, as well as a BTech degree in agricultural management from the Central University of Technology in Bloemfontein. Willem has worked in the irrigation industry since 2010. His core strengths are big picture thinking, strategic planning and building strong and lasting client relationships.
CHRISTIAN KOCH
NEW BUSINESS AND RETAIL MANAGER
Christian is a born South African, he studied BCom Business management from the Nelson Mandela University in George. He moved to Namibia in 2019, where he worked in the commercial vehicle industry for 4 years. He soon realized that Namibia is build out of long-lasting relationships. He will use his positivity and strategic strengths to build relationships and uses those relationships to build new business.
MARNITZ VAN ROOYEN
FINANCIAL MANAGER
Marnitz studied BCom Accounting at the University of the Free State. Worked for six years as financial accountant, before starting at Cherry Irrigation Namibia as Financial Manager in 2022. Marnitz is responsible for all the financial and Human Resources of the company. Being a part time farmer Marnitz is passioned about farming and the agricultural sector of Namibia and to combine that with the financial knowledge is an advantage for the company.
SKAAP (STEFAN) DU RANDT
SENIOR TECHNICIAN
Stefan has worked in the irrigation industry since 2013, shortly after matriculating in 2012. He started out as an apprentice and became a technician a year later, with responsibilities such as erecting pivots, installing other types of irrigation systems and doing electrical fault finding. He became part of Cherry Irrigation in 2019, when he was appointed as a technician, and in 2022 he joined the Namibian team. Stefan does his work thoroughly and with great zeal, and no task is ever too much or too big to take on. Stefan’s clients often also become his friends, and he loves spending time with all his friends. His hobbies are hunting and fishing.
TYRON STURGISS
SALES EXECUTIVE
Tyron has been working for Cherry Irrigation since 2020 as a sales executive. His responsibility is to assist clients with products and be their service advisor. He loves spending time with clients to assist them with equipment and find solutions for any problems they might have. He strongly believes in providing the correct information to clients so that they can have the best possibility to reach their goal with success.
Wesley has been in the technical field for over 12 years. He joined the Cherry Irrigation team in 2021, starting in sales and moving more into designing and consultation. Using the knowledge, he gained over the past few years is a benefit for all the Cherry Irrigation clients. With a precise mindset and well organised workflow, He will be able to get his clients to where they need to be with the service he offers.
CHRISTIAAN BARNARD
JUNIOR TECHNICIAN
Christiaan started at Cherry Irrigation in 2022 as a apprentice he worked himself up in a very short time and learned a lot about irrigation. Christiaan is now our junior technician, starting to operate solo on certain projects. He will go from strength to strength and we look forward in his development over a few years.
MAXI EVANS
ADMINISTRATOR
Maxi worked in retail for 15 years, this is where she obtained all her experience. She started at Cherry Irrigation in January 2021 doing the admin work for the company, using the knowledge she gained over the past years helps when dealing with suppliers and clients. Maxi enjoys working with people and this helps her a lot in the role she is fer-fulling at Cherry Irrigation.
