About SA

Peter Cherry established Cherry Irrigation in 1987, with irrigation design and topographical surveys as the main services. When Charles (Peter’s son) joined the company in 1992, the service offering broadened to include the supply and installation of material. Over time, automation systems as well as the supply of electrical and monitoring equipment have been introduced.

Cherry Irrigation is ISO 9001, 45001, 14001 and 27001 certified, which means that we consistently meet our clients’ requirements, as well as the applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. We also aim to enhance customer satisfaction by applying and improving our quality management system.

Cherry Irrigation is a company member of the South African irrigation Institute (SABI). Our association with SABI provides clients with extra peace of mind and guarantees that we will be providing appropriate and efficient irrigation services.

The company has its head office in Grabouw, South Africa, with an additional business unit in Namibia as a gateway for expanding its operations into the SADC countries and the rest of Africa.
